Measures for the administration of mail express packaging: avoid over packaging, effective from March 12

On February 25, the website of the Ministry of transport issued the administrative measures for the packaging of express mail (Order No.1 of the Ministry of transport of the people's Republic of China, 2021). The measures put forward that packaged mail express should adhere to the principles of practicality, safety and environmental protection, meet the requirements of production and safety, save resources, avoid excessive packaging and prevent environmental pollution. It is encouraged to actively recycle disposable plastic products such as plastic bags and use recyclable, recyclable and degradable substitute products.
